Sorry about your misfortune but I think that I may be able to help. Check out www.
autotrader.com and click on their classic trader link. Search for Gremlin and guess
what? There are four Gremlins selling in there for $4000+. Two of em are Xs and one
of em a 73!!! Tell that insurance guy to stick his estimate. There is no way a
Gremlin in the condition that yours was in could be worth less than 3,000 bucks. No
way!!!
