If I was in it and a couple of my freinds you would have to add an extra 1000 pounds or so.

Thanks Eddie ! I thought you would be able to help. Its something I never thought about until just recently and did not want to wait till spring for an idea about weight. I am using some formulias to try to determine the ideal gear ratio and rpm for best performance and they all want to know weight. Again thanks Rick

I have a question I hope Eddie or someone can help me with. I would like to know how much a 1968 Javelin SST with v-8 and automatic transmission weighs. I have heard every thing from 3100 pounds to 3800 pounds. At this time I cant get my car to a set of scales . It will be March before I can weigh it. It is the 343 and larger trans. Also has factory ralleys and 195x14 tires. No AC but PS and PB. Any good estimates or actual experence would help. Thanks Rick

There is a tire conversion chart on my site which might help:
Since you mention 15 inche rims, I have 23560R15s on front and 27560R15s on the rear of my 71 SC/360. No rub or scrapes on front, but I do have air shocks in back otherwise would not fit. These are mounted in 15 inch styles steel wheels, many know them as Rebel Machine rims. Here is a drive test of it on you tube with some good angles of rims
Hey guys!! Am getting ready to put on new wheels and tires on my 73 that I am doing now, need help on tire size. Have 15 x 7 fronts and 15 x 8 rear Torx thrust and looking for recommendations for tire sizes. Looking at using BFG Radial T/As Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
