[BaadAssGremlins] 1965 marlin engine swap

i want to put a later 258 into my 65 marlin that is now a 232 with 3 speed .I know the engine side of the bellhousing is different but does anybody know if the transmission side from the gremlin will fit the marlin 3 speed Thank you
