I noticed power steering fluid under my car for awhile. I just figured it was a hose. I was getting ready to go to the big car show in the park today and let it run for awhile and noticed a bunch of fluid under it. I said what the hell and drove it. When I got back from the show it only took a pint to fill it up so it seems the leak looks a lot worse than it is but it needs to be fixed. Anyway I got fooling with it and it is not a hose but the fluid is coming out of the cap on top of the pump. If I remember right from an old Buick I had this means an internal seal in the pump is out. I am thinking this is a winter job and I will replace the hoses when I replace the pump. Does this sound right to you guys.
