Hot Rod online newsletter; check out the old school Old Air Products under dash air conditioners. I am big fan of these; AMC had 
several suppliers of these type units back in the day. AMC had some called American Air, and Air King, (to name a few) this is a 
71-74 AMX & Javelin American King setup on ebay of mine right now:

but the boxy style type like Old Air would not work on the 71-74 AMXs & Javelin due to dash, but worked on everything else AMC. And 
they will freeze your butt out of car and are, well, vintage looking.

Also check out Steele Rubber 'peel & stick' weatherstripping, there are hundreds of AMC models that weatherstrip is not made for, 
and won't be, due to low or no demand. This might work for you. I have used some of this stuff and was pleasantly surprised at the 
results.
