what's on the bill of sale you received then.....

The main accomplishment of almost all organized protests is to annoy people who are not in them.

Its simple. Someone steals a classic car, Drives it across country, Sells it to you. They give you a phony name on the bill of sale. When you go to register the car it comes up stolen and you get arrested for possession of stolen property, and Grand theft auto Larceny.

here in Calif., a member of our local car club went back outside, refilled the paperwork and returned to a different clerk (twice) and registered a '36 vehicle successfully....  same day.....it seems that a handwriting expert isn't in their budget and the paperwork appears correct!t

Thats Very true anywhere. That why there is an Executor....Too bad you didnt know the laws before you bought. I wonder how many others have the same problem that bought from them.

Ohio wont do it, they say the paperwork I got when I purchased the car was filled out incorrectly and not by the proper person. Apparently the executor of an estate cannot legally transfer their abilities to another person and have someone else do the work for them. (according to the State of Ohio DMV)
