[BaadAssGremlins] Re: VW commercial with Gremlin?

   For a "period" car nothing spells nerdy and 70's to a movie, commercial, or show producer like an old Gremlin. The year does not seeem to matter but the most important characteristic always seems to be the slashed and slanted back end. (Just like in the VW commercial).
    Once seen, everyone recognizes that unique characteristic of Gremlins and most people flash back to bell bottoms and dorky guys driving 'em. A few years ago there was an article published - Revenge of the Nerd Cars with Gremlins taking center stage in it. Ask anyone who was driving 35+ years ago about the ugliest car they can remember and I bet Gremlin gets named almost every time.
