Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Fw: 1969 AMX brake question bendix to kelsey hayes spindles

When I did mine several years ago I changed to spindles from a 1978 concorde and I know they were different and would believe that the spindles for a 1970 up AMX would be also. Remember the entire front suspension went from the trundles to a more conventional set up in 1970. Not absolutely sure though know that do need the calipher mounting bracket from the later mod and would just change spindles while I had the bolts out.

Vince below is asking about interchangability from 1965-71 AMC Bendix 4 piston calipers over to 72-up type Kelsey Hayes same. Anyone wish to comment please free to do so and thanks in advance to all who might, be sure & copy your reply to Vince also.

I have a 69 AMX with Bendix front brakes.  Are the spindles with bendix calipers the same as the spindles with Kelsey Hayes Calipers?  I want to use a set of wildwood brakes but they say only cars fitted with the OEM Kelsey Hayes calipers.
