| Talked to guys at Line X today and they have done several cars, check out the link of a Mustang.   http://www.linexpics.com/project_view.php?ID=215  They told me that the car must be on a rotisserie or it can't be done.  The cost would be around $600.00 and $200.00 for a custom color.  He said to give him the paint code and they can mix it in with the coating, he wants to see the car before giving a firm quote it.  All the seams would need to be sealed with caulk, and if I do all that plus some other additional prep work, it would cut the cost,  I think that the color match would look sharp. I'm going to need to think about this. | The underside of my Gremlin has been Media blasted and now has a coat of expoy primer on it.  I'm thinking about having it coated with Line X instead of undercoating or a black expoy paint.  I see that they can color match the coating.  I have never had a truck with this so I don't know if it lives up to it's claims.  The body is on a rotisserie, so getting to it is no big deal.  I hate the idea of doing all the work of cleaning up the bottom, only to cover it with undercoating. So what do you guys thing, does Line X live up to all that it claims.   Ed       |
