Interesting.  Im surprised they didnt make it an option since it looks like it wouldnt have been too expensive to produce.  The grill seems "pinto-ish" but a clean design and the 78 GT may have been influenced by the side treatment shape, if not material.  What is that inlay material anyways?
 
Yep, that's right, Brian M. does have it. I've sat in the back of it.

The actual car is in Moyer's collection in PA if I believe.

This vendor also has many other AMC literature and photos, and other concept vehicles, including a gorgeous '66 Rambler wagon with glass roof in the back. Nice!
