They are available at Autozone – they order them and usually have them in a day or two (I have two 1973 Hornets on the road and had to replace one a couple of years ago).

Eddie- that explains it then. I'm looking for the external voltage regulator that
accompanies the alternator- not the gas gauge. Would you happen to have one of *those*
laying about?
