It seems to me that the Pacer and Pacer Wagon look remarkably similar to many contemporary Subaru sedans/wagons.

Things have changed in the last 15 years. I use to get made fun of a hell of a lot when I first started taking mineto car shows. My running joke with the kids was I was going to bring my 38 and blow the next sob that laughed at it away. Now it seems every one over 45 either owned one, their parents owned one or their best friend had one. I have heard just about ever story from 6 girls went to Florida on spring break in one. A bunch of people lost their virginity in them and a few guys purposed to their wives in them. Now were they one of the ugliest cars ever made. If you look at them now there not. Too many car makers have stolen the basic design and made their own version of it. Now if you go back to 1970 when they first came out you could make a case for it. They were different to say the least.

They can say what they want . I took my Gremlin to a small car show this last weekend and it won first in it's class and everyone that looked at it had a big smile. People talked with the wife and I like they have known us for ever. When they called our number on the loud speakers, they called it the beautiful Gremlin. The wife and I had smiles also.

Agreed!!

They're just trying to stir up pedestrian controversy for subscriptions --
because their business news ain't makin' it.

Besides, if they're including 3 wheelers, that's kinda like cheatin' isn't
it? They're easy to be ugly; almost hard to make pretty.
