Here is a neat site about turbine Mopars in 1960s:
click on the link 'to hear a turbine engine' link, turn up volume!
Another link about turbines:
speaking of 1977 AMX.....have been helping out a editor with Hemmings
Muscle Machines on article about 1977 AMXs that will appear in coming months.
You will enjoy this rare....vintage 16mm film on youtube of introduction of
a Hornet AMX
someone in the comments is spot on when they mention that a number of
fledgling actors and actresses made money this way before they made if big, if
they made it at all, this paid the rent you know. This is DECADES before Glee
junk
Older Hornet AMX file off my site with comments about damned Targa band and
how it would rain inside car due to leaks, and also has AMC bulletin about 'wind
noise and leakage'
Scott Campbell has done a great job on the Hornet AMX Registry thru years,
and has documented about 125 cars. I'm slowly catching up to that figure with
the 71 SC/360 Registry although a fraction of SC/360s made as opposed to 77
AMXs.
Go click on the AMC REGISTRIES section of my site here and chcek out the
1977 AMX Registry:

Never heard of a mid 70s
turbine. Only the concept from the early 60s.
