I remember the 60's concept turbine car. Chrysler had one of them being evaluated in Carbondale, Pa back then. Have no idea why they'd choose that town except perhaps for cold weather operation testing. Several unwary people got a little too close and almost burned their lower legs.

Actually, they tested them into the '80s.

Never heard of a mid 70s turbine. Only the concept from the early 60s.
