I just did a search but didn't find anything.

If you run across the thread at some point, I'd appreciate a link.

Thx.

The hooker supercomp headers for the gremlin are good but need work. I got my set from jethot 5 years ago. Had them send them to me uncoated. I then had the outer tube to flange welded and then I  portmatched them. After that I cut the flange off between tubes to lighten them. Then installed them in my gremlin so I could ding them in the needed spots. THEN I sent them back to jethot to be coated. When I got them back the #8 tube was dented at the end. I fixed it but let them know I was not happy. Then 2 yrs later the coating looked like crap so I sent them back for warranty service. Again when they came back same dent. Plus they sandblasted a able in the port flange, coated em and sent them to me like that! So I welded them and sent them back again. Same dent in tube again so I am done with jethot! Coating is only warranted against rust through  after 3 yrs. So they will look like crap.
If I get another set of headers it will be a stainless set made by Jim in ill I think? There's a thread on them on the am forum. Best gremlin headers ever made!
Just my experience

It says the part is available.

I'll likely go w/the uncoated version to start, just in case I have to "dimple" them to fit. I also prefer to send the parts to JetHot. I know it's more expensive that way, but (in some cases) I've been told that the ceramic coating is limited to the outside of the tubes (appearance) when purchased direct from a manufacturer.

Another advantage (for me at least) is that I have 2 AMCs I'm working on: A 74 Jav (original 360/4-spd w/Twin Grip 3:54, no AC) that I've built a 401 for as well as a 1970 Grem with a 360 4-spd (from a 70 or 71 Jav, can't remember which) w/a Dana 60 (original 3:54 or 3:55 but upgraded to a 4:10... I wish I'd lef it as a 3:55 now). So either way, the headers are bound to fit one of them. Though I'll be disappointed if the headers won't fit the Grem because I really want the long tubes as opposed to the Edelbrock shorties.

BTW, has anyone ever tried the Swain Tech thermal barrier coating for intake runn
