You do have to differenentiate between family members and law enforcement.
My own dad was a sargent in Corpus Christi police before he started working at
AMC dealerships in Corpus. There is a reason why he left the force also. Here in
Houston, while I don't like, nor care for those 'seat belt detail' things I
mentioned, I am pro cop, and will stand in front of a 400 degree 15 foot BBQ pit
for 13 hours to raise funds for any cop during a benefit. Even have donated some
AMC racing team shirts for silent auctions! There are about 7 Hopuston area cops
who have bought AMCs off me too thru the years, good people, just like most of
us.

As for gas prices Tom, how about you and some of the other people who like
AMCs as much as I do and drive them daily to bookmark this on your computer, it
has daily gas prices updated with cheapest in your area, works great, you can
look it up in phone also, just not while driving duh:

      | A LITTLE over the top?    I take HUGE offense as my SON is a deputy sherrif and he
is HONEST, FAIR and JUST and deals with the real PIGS in our
society every day.  Just because you have assholes in your
family doesnt justify advocating murdering police.   You disgust me.   ============================================

Just my 2 cents... and being as I have 2 cops in
the family (married into it, not born into it) I think I can
          comment:
Cops are "tools". Period.   They tell story after story about how they f'd
this one or that one today. Seat belts, 7 miles over the speed
limit, etc. I always tell them to go catch a real
 criminal instead
of "preying" on those who can't defend themselves. I call them
cowards, they call me "out" and more than once they've also backed
          down... they
all have an ego as big as they "think" their other
tool is... but in the end,
they decide it's not worth getting
their a** kicked and having to tell their
 buddies about
          it.
As you may surmise, I don't like PIGS! State or
local, as far as I'm concerned "Help keep America beautiful, kill
a cop"! That may be considered a little over
 the top, but you have
to live/mingle with these D*cks as family members before
 you
          really know what they're like.
Sure, there's a few good ones... right? Well,
I've yet to meet one who didn't do good unless he expected
          accolades for it...
And they're the worst ones for breaking the
speeding, stop sign, seatbelt, etc laws... Why? Because they flash
their badge and excuse themselves whenever
 pulled over for
          it.
   Just my 2
          cents... |
