My experience with gas tanks:

Hornets, Concords, and Eagle 2-door and 4-door sedans and wagons use the same gas tank which is easily available. I put one in an Eagle wagon a few years ago. It fit perfectly. This is what RockAuto and others sell. 

Gremlins (along with Spirits,  Eagle SX/4s and Kammbacks) use a different tank. Gremlins (with the fuel filler location higher on the body with the Gremmie cap) have a longer filler neck with a metal extension. Short wheelbase Eagles and Spirits (with the fuel filler under the license plate) use a heavy rubber hose extension.
