Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Seat Covered

Nope I am Louisville Ky.  I am just looking for some vinyl about the same quality that came in the Gremlin. The driver side is torn and yea it will need some padding. I am more concern that the color will be close. It has been a long time since I had a seat redone. I was thinking around three hundred and just wanted to know if I was close before I started shopping around for a place to do it.

I had my 71 SC/360 seats redone about year ago, $850, but custom. Price included front bench bucket, both headrests, both pieces rear seats, and of course padding & a few springs:

Terry, for some reason I though you are/were in east Texas(?), and if so, there is good auto upholstery shop on Gessner about mile north of I-10 called Hernandez Auto Interior, he used to work at Westside Interiors which is about block from me on Brittmoore. They do high dollar upholstery work, always a nice array of top muscle, and classics over there I should have taken photos last ten years as tons of cars. Had a Deucenberg (sic) over there one day, a few weeks ago a nice 70s Challenger. But Hernandez used to work for them so does same work, but 1/2 the price. You can find him in my AMC LINKS section under 'for locals only' targeting Houston and surrounding area AMC fans who need different types of work, engine, trans, brakes, what not done.

Just had two buckets for a 72 done with fabric inserts and vinyl on the rest $400  If I would have gone with plain it would have been $270

How much do you guys think it would cost to have the front bench seat redone in my Gremlin. Not looking for anything elaborate just basic vinyl. Not worried abut the back seat because I keep it folded down all the time.
