[BaadAssGremlins] Re: Awww WTF??? SC/Rambler droid on ebay

The seller either had a 350 laying around (even the homeless guy with 6 pit bulls tied to shopping cart under I-10 bridge has a few for sale under there cheap) or simply didn't look to hard. I have a 390 block for $600, however a number of 390s have been for sale in last year or two as economy tanks and people sell off stuff. Same with 4 speeds, granted it would have been a little tougher to get all 4 speed components together than find a 40+ year old AMC engine used 3 years. Or he simply had limited budget and had Rambler and figured as you mentioned below "WTF??" (Why That's Fun!!!) and did it. Could have made the ram air functional though. Seeing a SC/Rambler mailbox scoop not functional on a hood makes me want to drop in some Priority Mail boxes it in knowing they ain't going anywhere fast anyways.

I do like the body colored bumpers though. I am still checking out the Hurst (?) 4 speed shifter that is hooked up to a 350 Turbo transmission....one pedal clearly visible. My thoughts on this one is what I tell people all the time.....anything done can be undone.

Dude builds a damn SC/Rambler clone and installs a 350 lemming motor.(says he couldn't find a 390/4 spd) Bovine Scatology I say as the guy coulda put a 360 in it. its like cloning a "Hemi 'Cuda" and dropping a Olds 455 in it. FAIL!
