No, I don't expect Pacers & Gremlins to fly off shelves except in miniature 
fashion associated with the movie. Didn't help Hornet hatchbacks & Matty 
coupes when new with James Bond movie. However! As I mentioned if it gets 
people's interest up in AMC Gremlin & Pacer, that is a good thing and some 
of them will hopefully pick up a real one to fool with, maybe even make a 
Cars 2 clone tribute car or something. But no, I don't think "market value" 
on either will be affected one way or another. I don't think very many 
people except old timers, or car buffs caught the Doc Hudson references in 
original movie! It still was one of the hardest miniatures to find. Hate to 
think that is us in 20 years, so starved for anything AMC on the shelves in 
miniatures, Hot wheels, Johnny Lightnings, AMT, JoHan, that we park tent 3 
days in advance outside Toys R Us waiting for release, like people do for 
Ipod or new video games, like a warped Futurama episode I guess. Not for me.

I don't think the Cars movie had a positve effect on the value of Hudsons at 
all.  I don't expect that Cars2 will affect the value of Gremlins or Pacers 
though, except that they might come to be known by whatever name they are 
called  in the movie.
