Jack,

Finding a rear valance will be a hard item to find. I have been looking for one for years. A good Body man can fabricate one out of metal. As for your grill, Yes It can be plastic welded. I restore the Gremlin grills and do the plastic welding. They need much work after the plastic welding.

Look for any AMC in the junk yard. If it has disk brakes it will fit your gremmie( with the exception of 4wd amc's).

Subject: [BaadAssGremlins] In need of body parts for my 1972 Gremlin X

 

I have an all original 72 gremlin x 304/3 speed car, and have been having problems trying to find a few parts. I am in need of a rear valance and would love to keep the car all metal,but fiberglass is an option. Also my front grill is cracked in a few places and wanted to know if it could be repaired by plastic welding, or if i needed to find a new one. Next question, where is the best place to find parts to do a front disc brake conversion. And finally, what rear end came in the 304 gremlins?
