The policy is just like the rest of my cars but like I said I had to get the tags and they do have some restrictions. The law doesn't state you can't go for a joy ride in it but its primary use is suppose to be for going to car events and you can't use it for a daily driver. The cops don't enforce the law though. When we had emissions test everybody that a 25 year old car got them so they would be exempt from the testing. I have State Farm but look around at haggerty and the like. Some companies are pretty strict but others are wide open as what you can do. If you are just driving to car shows and the occasional joy ride you shouldn't be paying much over $100 a year. Now if you are using it for a daily driver your out of luck but I found that they laugh at me when I wanted full coverage on it before I went to classic insurance. You check Nada and these things don't book out but for 5 or 6 hundred dollars. Oh yea with the historic tags I pay 97 cents a year for taxes and tags. Actually they give you two tags and they are suppose to last you the rest of your life.

That is all I pay a year for my Gremlin. Full coverage $5,000 value. I had to get Historic tags which say you can't use as a daily driver but for me that was fine I don't use it for that anyway,
