Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Auto Rotisserie (Tommy in Fate, TX)

Hi I can tell you I didn't get near that Wagoneer due to swarming. After they got tractor and somehow hauled it to front of property one guy said it had a 401 in it. I never got near it due to all the bees, many can "bee" seen in the photo or two I took of it....from distance....with zoom lens. But can't tell you anything about that Jeep. The blue Cheif sold and it had a 401 in it.

There were a lot of parts...and a guy that did some work for Ed found out Ed died...and went over to the fate location shortly afterwards and stole Ed's car trailer and loaded it up day and night. Damned neighbors saw them coming and going but didn't think anything of it. Ed had some uber rare things years ago like roll of NOS cardin material, a NOS SRT-11 crossram to name a few things he trired to sell me. But it's my understanding in talking with relatives that several trailers worth of stuff, good stuff, all stolen. The sherriff's know the guy who did it but can't locate him...

But no, I didn't see 'what was left' when I was up there and chances are I would not travel 350 miles up there to see it either!

For those of you who might have stopped into this conversation, sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread about auto rotisserie either!

Eddie
I have been talking with Tommy in Fate, Tx about some parts,  it sounds like he has all sorts of stuff in a warehouse somewhere down there.  have you seen any of this stuff??  and do you think it would be worth a 700 mile trip to see it.  Also, do you know anything more about the wagoner that may have a 401 in it?
Thanks
Ed

There is a local fellow here who is doing a rotisserie on a 71 Gremlin I sold him one of Hahn's Gremlins several years ago, he is in Pearland. Neat photos he sent several years ago wished I had saved them as you could literally turn the car like a pig on a spit. I don't know how to get ahold of the fellow who seems to call me once a year though.

Has anyone  ever mounted a Gremlin body on a auto rotisserie.  I bought plans for one on ebay, and have  built it, know I'm ready to mount the body, but I'm not sure if in the back, if I should mount it to the bumber mount, or the spring preach mount.  It is a 1972 body.  I'll post pics as soon as I get it mounted.

Thanks
Ed
