Motor for sale: One of a kind professionally built 406 CID Race Engine 600 HP normally 
aspirated or with Nitrous over 900+ Horsepower
1973 401 engine bored to 406 cid. Over $7000 in receipts, all the best parts. Engine was 
engineered with the help of Dick Aarons (of Booth-Aarons Racing) along with research from 
Traco and Neil Van Order of Bonanza AMXIII. Engine was professionally assembled by 
Demarest and Schultz.
.640 Lift General Kinetics Roller Cam
Isky Roller Lifters
Air-Flow Research fully polished AMC Dogleg heads
Stainless steel Rat Motor exhaust valves
Roller rockers and stud girdle
Chrome moly triple valve springs and titanium retainers
Polished & shot-peened forged steel rods with floating bushings
13 to 1 Arias Pistons
O-ringed heads
Forged steel 401 Cross-drilled and tufftrided crank
One-of-a-kind Hooker Headers Custom built for additional ground clearance (which is 
sometimes a problem with AMX's) 2"" primary tubes.
Milodon external oiling system and custom oil pan
Marvin Miller 300 shot hidden Nitrous Oxide System (both fuel and nitrous are port 
injected) with 25 pound bottle
R4B Edelbrock fully polished intake manifold with port matching and custom plenum
Forged steel McLeod flywheel
Over 600 horsepower on engine dyno (without the nitrous)
Also included is a heavy duty engine stand
Engine is in great condition with low miles. With 5.13 gears and slicks the car did
