Had a '70 Gremlin; for $2400. I special ordered a floor shift5 with lowest rear end available and most displacement offerred.

Returning from lunch, the floorshift broke off in my hand; poked it back in and went home and re-welded it..   Rebuilt trans 3X and changed out for a Hornet auto-trans, still loved the car......Ron

At least my 1972 AMC Gremlin didn't make the list!
