Re: [BaadAssGremlins] gremlin rear bumper wanted

They do look the same but where the Hornet has one bolt in between the bumper rubber pieces the Gremlin has three. Then on the bottom of the bumper the Gremlin has four bolts while the Hornet has two. I am not concern that it has less bolts I just wonder if the holes would match up. I would guess they would. Question the spun aluminum ones on say the Spirits are they just held on by the rubber bumper guards.

that rear bumper appears to be same as used from 1973 thru 77 Hornets, including AMX

also used on 78-79 Concords and 74-78 Gremlins. Big wraparound heavy thing with steel reinforced inside it, chrome usually good but steel usually rotted as was left natural and not treated so exposed to elements in different climes

Check out my posted ads on the Reno/Tahoe Craigslist – I posted all on July 28 and they all start out with “Parting a…”  Several of the parts cars have good rear bumpers.

Can you post a picture of it. I am thinking it is different but I am not sure. I bought one off e-bay a few years ago The bumper was suppose to be in great shape. It isn't rusted like most and the chrome is still decent. Only problem is some idiot had bolted a trailer hitch on to it and there was a big dent in it. I could have lived with the holes but I couldn't figure out how to get the dent out. The one I have is rusted out.. I have white reflecting tape on it. While it doesn't look that bad and it shows up at night it still doesn't look that good either. If you know what I mean.
