[BaadAssGremlins] Help!

Okay YEARS ago(20ish) I swapped discs on to my 74 Gremlin, I think they were from a Hornet but being ignorant I'm not sure what the fellow said he pulled them from. Now I've had to replace the rotors and though at first they seemed to be fine now they are sloppy and won't tighten on the spindle. It appears as though the bearings can't be tightened due to the depth of the rotor's center hole. The new rotors are supposedly for a 77 Hornet. Was there a difference in rotors that could cause this?
All suggestions to correct problem accepted and appreciated.
