RE: [BaadAssGremlins] Gremlin almost done, need wheel advice

I cant feel it if there is a weight difference. But the only ones I have had are 4" wide. I like the way they are one piece and dont rattle when off the car' also they are one bolt pattern

I always wondered if the summit brand were any heavier. I need to get a new set of 15X10's with 6" BS for my Grem.
I have very little cash though. I ahve been looking 4 used but not alot out there in a 6" BS

For heavens sake before you spend big bucks for Weld wheels look at the summit brand that are almost exactly the same look . A set of 15x4 for the front at $89.95 each and 15x8 for $99.95 each. What a deal! We are running Weld 15x14s on the rear and summit 15x4 on the front of a 74 Gremlin X. Looks great together.

I have American Racing Torque Thrust D's on mine they look great and fit the style and era.  I got them from summit.  there are other versions of the torque thrusts that you may like better.

First post, but have been lurking for a long time here...

I am just about finished with my 1972 Gremlin X. I have a fresh 401 that just put 303HP/335LB at the wheels on the dyno and the car looks exactly like the magazine ad for 1972 (purple w/gold stripes). Even though I love the sleeper look with the stock wheels I want to get a nice set of Weld Racing wheels to make it look just like this..

I am assuming that these are 15" rims and its obvious that the fronts are 3.5, but does anybody here have advice on what those rears might be? 8"?? I want them to fit under the wheel wells just like that car.

While I'm making requests.... anybody here have an idea on backspacing?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Nate
