Anybody on here go? It was this weekend. Had to postpone Sat nite...as a TORNADO was about two miles away!! Made everbody get out of the stands...etc! I saw a redish/maroon and black two tone 68-69 AMX WITH AMC power. Also a early 70-73 AWESOME looking pro stock looking BRIGHT RED Gremlin /tube chassis car running mid 8's(with BBC power though). Guy had owned the Gremlin for 35 years he said! Also saw a VERY cool looking silver/blue two-tone two door 63 Rambler American wagon...full tube chassis BUT a SBC engine! My son said he saw a 68-70 Javelin but i missed that one.My son had his 79 Pinto entered. First pass on new 351W based (410)engine,new tranny,rear end,springs,CalTrac bars...ALL new to him...went 11.03!! Can't wait to get my Gremlin together. Hew wants us to take them to the strip together and put on a show!! Like he said...the two most made fun of/rejected 70's cars...GOTTA be a blast!! Millions of these two cars were sold years ago...BUT nowdays....I only get TWO opinions when folks see my Gremlin(son gets same shit with his Pinto)....People either say..."I LOVE it/had one years ago"...or....."UGLY fucking car why did you build it?". Doesn't bother either of us. As long as WE like em...who gives a shit?   Joe
