<p>Well you probably heard that Houston got smacked by flooding again today. <br>
Some areas got hit harder than last week. The area I live in and surrounding <br>
areas from basically Beltway 8 north to 290 and west and sout of that got <br>
hit really hard, 9-11 inches of rain last night. I heard the rain falling <br>
and didn't think too much of it. I got up about 5AM and feet hit <br>
water.....in the house. I woke up Paige & the boys, but not much could do <br>
except start trying to barricade the doors with towels. About 2 inches in <br>
the house, never has flooded inside the house, not during Allison, not <br>
during Ike.<br>

Inside the garage was over 5 inches of water. So all day today we have been <br>
using wetvac, pulling up carpet in rooms, throwing away a lot of stuff Paige <br>
was going to do garage sale early May, just cleaning up, and jut got a <br>
dehumidifier to run so hopefully won't get mold in walls and sheetrock.<br>

that is a live rescue at Beltway @ I-10 the lady is still missing...the <br>
floodwaters were 15 feet deep there...up to bottom of I-10 or stop lights.<br>

this looks like I have a really bad bladder problem but it is that deep. The <br>
people on this street, Timber Oak, had just clenaed up from LAST WEEK'S <br>
flood, and this time they blocked the street with vehicles so people in big <br>
trucks could not cause wakes.....in their homes.<br>
<br>
If anyone here was expecting something from me, there will be a slight <br>
shipping delay, probably 2-3 days max until we can clean up and dry out <br>
here. Thanks for patience.<br>
