may be popping up on eVilbay or craigslist - Viper Red is not a stock AMC
color that I know of...

Subject: Larry's AMX

In case you haven't heard, Larry's AMX was recovered by Las Vegas police.
Sadly, the car was stripped and not drivable.  It now appears that the car
may have been stolen by someone who owns an AMX or Javelin and may be
restoring it.  According to Andy, many of the parts taken were specific to
AMX's and Javelin's.  I probably don't have to say this but keep your eyes
open for any new AMX's or Javelin's in the area.  If you see an unfamiliar
car, make damn sure you make note of where you saw it.  Try to get a look at
it if you can.  It may be in a month or it may be in a year, but sooner or
later, something is going to show up.
