Speaking for myself, simply recovering and trying to get back
in some sort of schedule now that we have electricity, water (still have to boil
to drink it 3 weeks later) phone, internet, cable and AC. And schools are
reopened so kiddies back into some sort of routine. Have included some hurricane
Ike photos here will have bigger file on my site soon, but this is mostly our
house, yard, and my mechanic's shop where my 81 Eagle almost got 5 ton tree on
it and my Ambassador had carport collapse on it so have dents in roof but
nothing thru roof. Paige's Eagle got broken windshield. Ironically on back fence
a Gremlin tail light and a can of starter fluid never moved, yet we had 500+ lb
limbs getting broken in 100+winds go figure. Maybe one day Geraldo will get
washed away.
