Glad you had a good time at the car show. I have found since there are so few Gremlin's left and it seems that every one either owned one or their best friend owned one they don't have to be in the best of shape to get the looks. You will make a bunch of people happy. I have been going to them for 11 years now and the reason I go to so many is not that I find it is that much fun or that I think my Gremlin is going to win a prize but the fact that I bring back memories to so many people. It is very satisfying to me that I can make people happy by just being there. Nice knowing I have a piece of history too.  Three AMC's at a car show is a big number. I think about 5 is the most I have every seen. 90% of the time I am the only one there.  As for as Eddie's window stickers go Eddie has blank new car window stickers on his web site. He also has some real stickers that you can get the prices of your cars from. I used the one for 68 AMC car because it printed it our so well. Took the prices off the 75 Gremlin I figured it was close enough. That sticker sure brings the people in too look at it. Had one guy tell me last weekend he was more amazed that the sticker has survived for 30 years. All kinds tell me I should do something to protect it, They can't believe I just have it taped in the window and it has held up so well . I don't have the heart to tell them I have 4 or 5 more aging in a folder at home. I also wad them up to age them before I put them on the window.  Thanks again Eddie. This weekend I put the Grem in the Old Settlers Day Auto Show. His
first official car show! It was a blast! There were 3 AMCs there, my
Gremmie, Todd's Javelin and Rod's AMX.. Wow! When I pulled in and saw
that AMX and a parking spot next to it I was stoked. I got to meet
Todd and his family and that was awesome. His Javelin is pretty
Sweet! They gave everyone participation plaques and shirts and such.
The Gremlin is a work in progress and since I've been left to find help
to get him done, it will take some time now. I still had alot of
people looking and talking to me and such. It was fun. I think I'm
hooked. We have another Car Show here in Olathe on the 27th of
September and I am so there. My son has rebuilt his camaro from the
ground up and wants to join mom in the next show. I hope Todd and Rod
bring their cars too! This time park together! AMC!
