[BaadAssGremlins] Front End Bushing Problem

I have been driveling these AMC's with this basic front end since 1965. The newer non trunion front end in my 74 Hornet needs the bushings that go in the lower spring perch that the shock bolts to. I have heard over the years here that the bushings were no longer available. Is this true? I have my  local non national chain store parts guy searching for them. I figured I'd also ask here, since I have had a lot of help over the years from both these groups. I remember John Elle saying years ago he found a substitute. I haven't seen him post for a long time here. Is anyone in touch with him? I will also sent a copy of this E-Mail to the last E-Mail addy I had for him. This is my daily driver and I need to get it repaired as soon as possible. The wife will be on my back SOON!!!!
