An easy CHEAP fix for the hinge bushings is to get a GM kit from the help section of your local parts store. Drill the hole in the hinge to accept the GM bushing and pin and your done!

There's also a good chance that the door has worn bushings. Replacing the
bushings should true it up a bunch, then do your final adjustment as Davis
described.
