We've pulled it out and repainted it to black. I redid the silver 
trim parts with an aluminum paint and it looks cool.  Just slow 
project because of the weather and my lack of time off.  We 
reinforced areas of the dash where the screws hold it in.  Alot of 
the spots were broke out and stuff. Kind of brittle from the AZ sun 
and years of age.  Talk about dusty! The foam dash is ok.  Actually 
in real good shape.  We had all but one break off.  Scott superglued 
and JB welded them back on and it worked. Are you missing pieces?
Scott says if you are you can try using parts of a plastic pen for 
the screws to go into.  
Going to get a new carpet kit for it too eventually. I'm in the 
process of looking for a new job and hope that I'll have more time 
to do things and get the dang weekends off!
