Hey Dave, with gas prices at $3+ a gallon, those little four bangers get 25+ 
mpg. Granted, you will have homeless people pushing their shopping carts 
past you on freeway, but what the heck. You will have to beef up the front 
end if you change it from the 121cid (the Porsche/Audi engine) or the 151 
(GM Iron Duke) engine however. Still, for $400 for a last year gremlin not 
bad.
