Eh, if only they had fixed that darned power valve problem back in the 
1980s. I think they fixed it with the 4410 (?) Series, but my experience 
with Holly carbs was that when they backfired, it usually blew out power 
valve and could never get it to idle properly again. Just my humble own 
reckonings! Hope they come out of it.
