| The folks below are asking bout some oil slinger. I had a oil slinger once,
it was a Hornet that had a leaky oil pan gasket, sort of like the Hornet Exxon
Valdez. Anyways, if anyone can help these folks quit going thru timing chaing
covers they would appreciate it, thanks in advance to all who may reply, be sure
to copy your reply directly to them also. Eddie Stakes' Planet Houston AMX 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.planethoustonamx.com email reply currently 5-9 days 8-19 day reply times, just call! ----- Original Message -----

beer34@xxxxxxx I read on one of the sites of yours that a cloyes
double rolller chain is best for the 258 but it says that with this double
roller the original oil slinger won't work. So what oil slinger do i use?
This would be much appreciated considering i have gone through 2 timining chains
in 2000 miles. i had been useing the comp cams chain with rolllers that i think
aren't "true double rollers". any help would be great.
