| That's Garry's car. I believe that is original mileage on it also from when
he bought it, not sure he was able to get it running or not, quite a unique
vehicle. AMC always was one step ahead in alternative fuel vehicles. There is a
propane powered Matador east of me in Beaumont, Texas, and has a big tank in
rear, and has run on propane since built in 1975. Here is a 1970 electrical
Hornet off my site, I don't think this idea would have flown, but still
neat: actual press release for above from aMC: and many of you saw the hydrogen powered Gremlin pop up on ebay a number of
times, usually get in the $7K range but no sale: It's simply neat to see that AMC....as usual....was well ahead of the curve
experimenting with alternative fuels and power decades ago. Now it is the "in"
thing to do, back then people think you see a UFO or having a spot of tea with
sasquatch or stuffing chupacabra heads in your freezer to show friends. Oops,
sorry that last one was here in Texas, old blue head chupie thing. Not sure what
the lady did with it but sure looked to be a good source of a large pot of
gumbo. Eddie Stakes' Planet Houston AMX 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.planethoustonamx.com email reply currently 5-9 days 8-19 day reply times, just call! __._,_.___
