[BaadAssGremlins] Been a LOOOOOOOOOOONG year for me...

   Haven't posted much here, just haven't really thought much about
Gremlins, even with a driveway full of them ( namely THAT, as I'm not
getting anything DONE on them, so I avoid the subject ). Anyway, work
is no fun, just got my "annual" review, almost 6 months late,and no
backdated raise, so I'll be looking for another job. I knew the old
guy was cheap, and he's lost alot of people in the last year, in part
because of his practice of not giving timely reviews and raises. I
can't even afford to pay my mortgage with what he's paying. I'd hoped
I'd get a decent raise, but 40 a week will barely cover gas, and it's
going up again. Just time to sigh and move on, I know it won't get
much better. He's brought in a new (old) guy to turn things around,
cool guy, worked for IBM and Loral, talking and DOING incentives
already, but too little, too late for me, I think. I really need to
move on to a better pasture, if there is one. 

 Anyway, Gremlins are sitting still, won't be doing much on them with
winter approaching. I might try to get the bronze 74 going, forget the
head swap and just reassemble with the new water pump and timing
chain,just to get it moving again. Hopefully the taping valves will
hold up awhile longer, not bad, but was hoping to get it all done,
still sitting after the 2002 Kenosha trip. Just not good. Anyway, hope
everyone ELSE is having a better time these days. I'm still around,
just trying to survive these days. AMC ya,
