You definitly have the wrong engine mounting brackets. You need ones for a small bodied AMC. A guy Mike a few towns over from me is reproducing them.

the heads are just about smack dab on my firewall on my gremlin and its a factory V8. a V8 in a Gremlin and the cars related to it are a real P.I.T.A
