[BaadAssGremlins] 500,000 mile club

Hello everyone.It may not be AMC,but I must share.I drive for a 
living,a 98 FORD E 350.This thing has been running EVERY day(for 
years),my boss lets me take it home,and I deliver from home.I have not 
had to drive anything else.Well I'v been doin 400 plus a day for quite 
awhile.My boss told me 2 years ago,you hit 500,000 you got the day 
off.Well believe it, I'm hitting 500,000 on my way in today.Original 
motor,not even a valve cover leak.It did go thru 1 tranny about 200,000 
ago.This thing although not my type of vehicle,cause it doesn't say AMC 
on it,is still a great runner.I tend to treat traffic lights like a pro 
tree,and you'd better be on your game,cause this van will surprise 
you,4.10s help.It has had reg maint.4000 mile oil changes.It has only 
needed 1 change of plugs in all this time.I had to let you all know.An 
AMERICAN vehicle can last.   Walter UPSTATE N.Y.
