[BaadAssGremlins] Was Novice questions - 1981 AMC Spirit (258) Now Door Lock Problem

I had the same problem with my Hornet with having to hold the door lock knob up to open the door. There is a spring in the door lock/latching mechanism that was broken. The spring can be replaced but are very hard to find. I had an extra complete lock/latch mechanism and so I just replaced the whole thing.
