Falcons never had a 9 inch. Not until the 1970 1/2 BIG Fairlane style 
Falcons. V8 Falcons were made from 1963 1/2 (260 V8 in 63-64),(289 
1965-67),(302 1968-70),(optional 351 Clevland 4V AND 429 SCJ in 70 
1/2)thru 1970 1/2.I've owned several 63-65 Falcons and a 70 1/2 351 C 
one also. Never came with a 9 inch except the 70 1/2. BUT they did 
have an 8 inch thats a good rearend. NOT for a built 401..but smaller 
engines are ok...unless you beat the hell out of them. Joe--- In
