Not quite correct. The 62-65 Fairlanes never came with a 9 inch rearend. Only a 8 inch (which will hold modified small V8's pretty well)and then only if they had a V8. The 65-66 Mustang 9 inch(VERY RARE) will fit. Also any 1957-59 PASSENGER car ..NOT wagon or Ranchero will fit also. The 66-69 Fairlanes are several inchs too wide. The 67-70 Mustang is close..but then again...about 1 1/2 inch(if i remember correctly) wider overall than a Gremlin/Hornet rearend. I swapped alot of rears while working at a ford dealership years ago. IFFFFF i can locate it...i have a CHART of several FORD rear end dimensions. If/when i locate it i'll post the info here...cool?
