Pix will be coming soon. Last night I helped an AMC buddy pull an engine and trans out of his fourth '70 AMX. That garage floor was cold here last night -4 degrees outside. He just had hernia surgery a couple of weeks ago and all he could do was hand me tools. When I got to his house last night about 7:30pm the only thing out of the car was the radiator. His son helped me get the hood off and unload my cherry-picker from his truck (that I had loaded in earlier in the day). By 12:30am this morning engine /tranny were out and hanging on the cherry-picker and I only damaged one part (the dipstick tube on the automatic trans). Gary 'The Mix2'

Ok SO Bill came over this AM for another thrash session and it went
well.
First I hooked up the tranny cooler lines together, then we wired in
the MSD and mounted the coil. I ran a temporary wire for the fuel pump
then I remembered I had a gal of 93 octane so I Put it in and tested
for leaks, no leaks. Then i temporarily hooked up an oil pressure
gauge.
Fired right up!
Here is a link to the video of it running in the car for the first
time.

I still need to dress everything up set the idle and timming.
Obviously I still need to set up the cooling system and the tranny
cooler, O ya and put the body together and paint her!!!
I am really psyched now!!!!!
