[BaadAssGremlins] My 72's

I see there has been some interest in my newly aquired Gremlin's. Here 
is some background information on my two newly aquired Gremlin's. I 
had started to bid on the 71 that belongs to Rooster on ebay but he 
out bid me and I had phoned the person who owned that car. He informed 
me that he had another Gremlin (the green One) as was possibly 
thinking about selling. We aranged to have some photos of the car 
emailed to my home and of course I had to have that car. But in the 
background on another hoist was a purple one the exact same as a 
previous car I used to own.

As the story goes I made him an offer he could not refuse for both 
cars and he agreed to sell both. The cars were at another AMC fanatic 
in the state of MN.his name is Ray-daddy and his blower Gremlin is 
also featured in the photo section (one very sharp car)and I hope he 
will put some photos on of the construction of such a car. He is a 
mechanic for an auto dealership an very well versed in the workings of 
high performance. It would be nice for the others that view this site 
to see his AMX (prostreet) 1961 International tow vechicle and a 
spread on the blower car.

I just brought the purple car home from a body shop here in Thunder  
Bay Ontario Canada and it had new rockers door skins and most of the 
small dents pulled along with fresh paint and stripes. Both cars have 
390 cu/in AMC power. The green one is an auto trans car (prostreet)and 
the purple is a T10 4speed. Both cars are caged etc for racing but I 
am an injured construction worker socars will only be street driven. I 
hope to have my 27 year old son drive the purple one at Grand Bend 
drag strip in Southern Ontario. Also I am hoping to travel and show 
cars at various Canadian and American shows in the future making 
friends all over the place. As for the other people mentioned here I 
hope they two will post more information on their cars. This purchase 
alone has produced one USA/Canadian friendship already and more I hope 
will follow.
