Not sure what all the 'where are all the posts?' thread is about, I have emails flying out my ass like Madonna had monkeys flying out her ass. Really brutal, about 20-50 per day now. So have not followed this thread. But did take note that Gary mentioned 'rippin Levi's seats' down below. I'll mention it again just in case someone rips their Levi's interior like I did after a bout with a one pound Mission Burrito:

If you go to some hobby stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby, not only do they sell demin material but also the Levi's Strauss buttons too. The original Levi's material used in Hornet, Gremlin & Concord was just that 'denim looking materia' not real denim, just like the stuff in rolls at the hobby stores. The buttons are same those don't change, and are sold in small boxes of about 6-10 if I recall, just saw some recently here in Houston. They only sell blue denim like material, so if you have red, tan or black denim in your 1978 AMC Anything, good luck.

Bart, You know what it's like when somethin' ain't 'fun' anymore? Well, that's what happened. Milage was goin' up (almost 18K now) and little things kept breakin' lately so I'm going to return it to 'stock' (as close as I can remember) when the dealer had finished all my 'factory' mods back in 1973. The Mix 2 will be more 'fun'. It has the 'heart' of the original 'Mix' and if something breaks or I want to change something just for the hell of it, I won't feel so bad. Also, now I don't have to worry about scratchin' the paint or rippin' the Levi material on the seats. Gary
