On hoods, if you go to my AMC PARTS SPECIAL file on front page of my site, I have two rustfree hoods here, one is flat SC/360 non ram air type, the other is Gremlin bulge that someone can make ram air out of, there are photos and also a photo of a blister hood like this (it's plum) someone made a ram air hood out of looks great. Shipping might be a problem, could be $200-$350 to get it from Houston to Detroit(?) maybe you have relatives, AMC friends down here or know some truckers can pick it up perhaps.

Hey Kwikbiker,you do know that any 70-76 Gremlin hood is the same.so you don't need one right off a 74.also the 70-72 Hornet hoods though don't have the bulge that the gremlin hoods have,they are a bolt on as well.
